The Trump Organization<\/a>‘s Boeing 757<\/a>, nicknamed Trump Force One<\/strong> after the U.S. presidential plane, Air Force One<\/a>, is an aircraft owned and operated by Donald Trump<\/a>. The nickname gained use during Trump’s presidential campaign of 2016<\/a>.[1]<\/a><\/sup>[2]<\/a><\/sup>[3]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boeing 727 (1997\u20132011)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The predecessor of Trump Force One was a Boeing 727<\/a> registered as VP-BDJ.[4]<\/a><\/sup> The plane had previously been operated as part of the Trump Shuttle<\/a> fleet until a 1992 merger. Donald Trump re-purchased the aircraft in 1997 and used it until 2011, when he sold it in favor of the 757. The 727 included a private quarters with a queen-size bed and full bath and seating for 23 passengers in three separate salons.[7]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump’s Boeing 757-200 is registered in the United States as N757AF<\/strong> (ICAO 24-bit address<\/a> AA3410) and was built in 1991. It was originally delivered to Denmark’s Sterling Airlines<\/a> and by 1993 was operated by Mexico’s TAESA<\/a>. In 1995, it became a corporate jet for Microsoft<\/a> co-founder Paul Allen<\/a>‘s enterprises. Trump’s DJT Operations I LLC bought the plane in 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft has two Rolls-Royce RB211<\/a> turbofan engines, and is configured to seat 43 people. It has a dining room, bathroom, shower, bedroom, guest room, and galley. Many fixtures are plated in 24-karat gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donald Trump had planned to use the 757 for campaigning during his exploratory, ultimately abandoned 2012 presidential bid.He used the 757 for transportation during his successful 2016 presidential campaign<\/a>.After becoming president, he began to travel on the Boeing VC-25s<\/a> commonly referred to as Air Force One<\/a>, including the use for transportation during his unsuccessful 2020 presidential campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2017, the aircraft received the call sign<\/a> ‘Tyson 1’.<\/p>\n\n\n\t
